Keeping Your Computer Safe

With the continuous onslaught of virus, malware and other nasty tidbits directed toward home computers, you need to ensure that your computer is protected.

Use Thunderbird instead of Outlook : www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird

Install or activate a firewall.

Once you have installed or activated your firewall, you need to test it.

Install a virus scanner.

If you cant install a virus scanner, then you should routinely scan your system using online virus scanners.
